She debuted her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was one of five songs that reached the top spot on Billboard as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as Billboard Hot 100. This particular track was special because it was based on an interview with Rap-Up many listeners related to her journey in self-doubt as well as learning how to be a better person. Cara's music is famous for her messages of love, self-love and mental health. Her music is a reflection of her personal struggle to deal with depression and insomnia. According to a Reuters interview, she described her album as half tumultuous and half perfected. She claims she has grown through therapy, and urges those around her to seek assistance in times of need. Alessia Cara is a Canadian artist who was born the 11th of July in 1996. Her parents are who are of Italian ethnicity. At the age of 10 old her parents gave her a guitar, which was the basis of her musical passion. As a teenager, she started covering songs she liked on YouTube to demonstrate to viewers that she had talent and was able to make the decision to pursue a career as a musician. Actually, one of her cover songs Sweater Weather is the one that got her noticed by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to write and record her own songs.
